Barryland

The only park in the world entirely dedicated to Saint Bernard dogs, Barryland covers 22,000 m² in Martigny, in the heart of Valais. Supported by the Barry Foundation, the park features a living museum, discovery areas and vast outdoor enclosures, all designed to meet the needs of these emblematic dogs. In the architectural form of a paw print, the park immerses visitors in five themed worlds that reveal all the facets of the Saint-Bernard character. This living, educational and interactive museum invites visitors to meet and share in the legend of Barry, a symbol of Swiss heritage for over three hundred years. Designed with the dogs' wellbeing in mind, Barryland offers the animals space, care, rest and opportunities to play in a bright, dog-friendly environment. Visitors are invited to observe, share and marvel at the activities, workshops and special moments with the dogs. After a recent renovation, Barryland reopened its doors in June 2025, offering families an enriching, moving and fun adventure that is both close to nature and dedicated to preserving a Valaisan and national symbol.
