Jolischlucht suspension bridge

The 24-metre long suspension bridge spans the wild Joli Gorge at a height of 25 metres. Built in 2005, it connects the southern ramp of the Lötschberg with the village of Niedergesteln. The footbridge is on the hiking trail that leads from Raron to Niedergesteln. The 8.7-kilometre route takes about two hours to walk up to the footbridge and then half an hour to reach the village of Niedergesteln.
