Lac du Grand-St-Bernard

A privileged crossroads between Switzerland and Italy. Rising to an altitude of 2473 metres, the Great St Bernard Pass separates the Great St Bernard Valley from Valle d'Aosta and Val d'Entremont. The third highest road pass in Switzerland, this majestic natural site in the Pennine Alps is located in the commune of Bourg-Saint-Pierre, in the canton of Valais.
