Heidnischbiel

Since the Iron Age, the Heidnischbiel has been repeatedly inhabited, as a number of archaeological finds indicate. In the 1960s, prehistoric burial grounds were discovered as well as plow marks which are considered the oldest ones in Switzerland. Flora and Fauna there are quite unique. You'll get to see rare species like orchids, feather grass and houseleek as well as green lizards.
