Description

This 23 km mountain bike route will bring you closer to the villages on the slope below Crans-Montana. On the program are Venthône Castle as well as the church and the Christ the King statue of Lens. The route allows you to discover the surrounding villages and their environment at your own pace and in peace.

Turn-by-turn directions

You start at Lake Moubra, then continue to the villages of Randogne and Mollens and finally arrive above Venthône. In Darnona, you can interrupt the ride and load your bike onto the cogwheel railway to return to Crans-Montana. Then you continue west towards Chermignon-d’en-Bas, to Lens with a climb on the "des Bouillettes" path at the foot of the Christ-Roi hill, from where you continue to Lake Louché. The return to Crans-Montana is above Icogne, the westernmost village from Crans-Montana. From the Maiensässen, the climb back to the resort demands quite an effort. You can relax at Lake Miriouges, in the heart of the forest, before returning to Moubra. This route includes all the ingredients of a proper bike ride: technically demanding descents, various types of paths, … all in a very diverse environment. The route can be done in one go (23 km) or in several stages.
