Turn-by-turn directions
Departure is from Lake Moubra. The route then takes you towards the villages of Randogne and Mollens to arrive above Venthône. At Darnona, if you want to break up the journey, you can head back up to the resort by taking your bike in the funicular. Next, head back west, towards Chermignon-d’en-Bas, then Lens with an uphill climb on the Chemin des Bouillettes to the foot of the Christ-Roi hill, which you leave to reach Louché Lake. The return to Crans-Montana is via the upper reaches of Icogne, the most westerly village in Crans-Montana. From the ‘mayens’, the uphill climb to the resort requires quite some effort. You can rest at Lake Miriouges in the heart of the forest, before returning to Moubra. This route combines all the ingredients of a real bike ride: technical downhills, different types of paths…all in very diverse surroundings. This excursion can either be done in one go (23km) or in sections.
