Vallon d'Arbi

This route is number 23 in the biker's guide. As in winter, the Vallon d'Arbi is a magnificent, wild and technical route. It can be reached from Les Attelas and Lac des Vaux (recommended when the Fontanet lift is open) or from La Planie and Col des Mines. From Fontanet, there is a short but steep climb up the ski slopes to Les Attelas. The path starts on the Attelas ridge towards the Col de Creblet (beware of exposed areas). From the pass, turn right towards Lac des Vaux. Take the path below the lake towards the Col des Mines and then the path on the left bank of the Vallon d'Arbi towards La Tzoumaz. The path is narrow and stony, a real treat. From the bottom of the valley, take the road to La Tzoumaz. This route has not been approved by the canton of Valais in accordance with the law on leisure mobility routes.
