Our favorites

Our favorite itineraries are part of a selection of the best routes in the region and are proposed by Valais/Wallis Promotion to best meet the expectations of our guests.

Turn-by-turn directions

The route departs from the sunny village of St-Luc, situated at an altitude of 1,600 meters. The first stage follows a broad forestry track through the "Forêt du Rochet" and the "Forêt des Teppes", before arriving at Tignousa, the top station of the funicular. If you wish, the route can be substantially reduced by taking the funicular. Close by the funicular station is the François-Xavier Bagnoud Observatory, which regularly organizes observations of the sun and astronomical evenings. From here you follow the Planets Trail, which reproduces the solar system on a reduced scale whereby each step corresponds to a million kilometres. The final few hundred meters lead through beautiful scenery and bring you to the legendary Hotel Weisshorn in its commanding position overlooking the whole of the Val d'Anniviers.
