Europe's largest mountain biking playground is yours for the taking with this loop from Champéry! Armed with your mountain bike pass, climb the peaks and ride the bike parks of Les Crosets, Avoriaz and Châtel to experience or relive the thrills the must-have Pass'Portes du Soleil MTB!

Turn-by-turn directions

Meet us at the bottom of the Champéry cable car, where you can pick up your Portes du Soleil MTB pass at the lift ticket offices. Along the way, enjoy some of the finest panoramic views in the Portes du Soleil. After a start facing the Dents du Midi, discover Lac Vert and the single trails leading to the Lindarets sector. Take a detour to the Goat Village, then cross Avoriaz. A 100% bikepark sector will provide an adrenalin surge before reaching the mountain pastures. Passing through Châtel, enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps. Finally, cross the Swiss side with its 4x4 trails before reaching the Les Crosets bikepark.

Getting there
Information

Public transport

From Monthey, take the AOMC train line (Aigle - Ollon - Monthey - Champéry) and get off at the terminus at the Champéry station / cable car.

Approach

Take exit 18 “Saint-Triphon” on the A9 motorway towards Monthey and follow the brown signs “Portes du Soleil”. After passing the Collombey tunnel, take Route 21 to reach Champéry.

Parking

The cable car parking is free in summer.
