The descent route starts at (2,194 m). You will begin a descent through rocky scenery then pastures down to the Val d'Arpette, a magnificent protected valley. You will then reach Champex-Lac.

Getting there
Information

Public transport

Take the train to Orsières, then the bus to Champex-télé.

Approach

Exit the highway at Martigny.

Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard then exit the main road at Orsières and follow Champex-télé.

It is also possible to exit the main road at Bovernier and go through the Valettes, but the road is narrow and very winding.
