Nendaz-Barrage de Cleuson Bike

The route starts at the sports center of Haute-Nendaz. Follow the signage 129 towards Siviez. Part of this route runs on the main road. Caution is advised here. You ride through the hamlet of Tsamandon and soon reach the forestry center. Shortly after, you leave the paved road and cross the forest until you reach the Route de l'Aplanie to the Mayens de Sofleu. It is worth taking a short break here to enjoy the view over the Bernese Alps and the Rhone valley. As soon as you reach the parking lot of Siviez, follow the signage 134. Ride along the right bank of the Printse river towards the valley floor. While the route is still paved at the beginning, you soon get onto a gravel road. After some hairpin bends and a small tunnel, you reach the dam with a breathtaking view. Just behind the dam is the small chapel St. Barthélemy, which is also worth a visit. Afterwards, you return to Haute-Nendaz.
