Description

This route is number 17 in the biker's guide. The region's legendary adventure course with alpine trails, exceptional panoramic views, a mountain hut and 2,000 metres of descent on singletrack! A dream come true for any seasoned enduro rider! Although the climb up to the Col de Mille will make you perspire, the descent facing Verbier, along the slopes of Mont Rogneux, is well worth it! The climb: From Moay, take the forest road towards Pasay. After ascending for 400 metres, at the Croix du Six Blanc, a superb singletrack will take you to the Mille stables. From there, a further 400metre ascent will separate you from the Col de Mille and its welcoming hut. The descent : After a well-deserved refreshment, 2,000 metres of downhill trails await you on the way back to Le Châble. From the pass, head towards Servay on a magnificent alpine-style singletrack. Just before the small lake (Goly de Servay), turn 180° left to join the Combe des Beutsons and then Momin. This part of the route has an incredible flow! Once you reach the road to Momin, the path cuts through the twists and turns in the road. Be careful, this is the most technical part of the excursion. Before crossing the river, turn left onto the last section of path that runs alongside it. If you've got any energy left, once you're at the bottom of the valley on the banks of the Dranse, a short climb (60 metres D+) will take you to the end of itinerary 5 to round off this wonderful day in style!
