Turn-by-turn directions

This mountain bike route starts at the village square in Saas-Almagell. Pass between the Monte-Moro house and the Volg shop and follow the route to the weaving studio. Here turn left. In Zer Meiggeru, near the balancing basin, take the paved road towards Eijusand and then ride uphill. Cross the bridge and turn left onto the field path. Across the terrain in front of the dam, you will reach the Mattmark restaurant. From here, first go through a pedestrian tunnel and then follow the left lakeshore to Dischtelalp. After that, ride back to the dam on a narrower path along the right side before you embark on the fast descent to Saas-Almagell. Initially, go straight ahead. Over a path that winds through rocky terrain, you reach the field at the foot of the dam. The return to your starting point takes place on the same route as the ascent.
