Description

Take the cable car from Turtig (Raron) up to Eischoll. From there, either take the chairlift to Striggen or tackle the route there already by bike. From Striggen, continue across the high plateau with wonderful panoramic views towards Sengalp. At the hamlet of Meiggu, a short but steep climb leads up to Alpe Tschorr, accompanied by views of the majestic Bietschhorn and the surrounding peaks of the Bernese Alps. From Tschorr, you can look forward to an enduro descent of the highest class. The fantastic single trail leads past Färichwald down to Habere, crossing the mountain road twice briefly. With lots of flow but still demanding, the valley descent winds through the forest down to the hamlet of Lunggi. Two or three tight hairpin bends round off this enduro highlight before ending at Gampel-Steg station. From there, follow the gravel path along the Rhone and past the idyllic Lake Baggilla back to Raron.
