Le Grand Tour - Tzoumaz

This 34km route leaves from Verbier and takes you along the route du Soleil up to the picturesque village of Sarreyer (1230m) in the Val de Bagnes. From here, a long and hard ascent (10km) takes you to La Chaux (2266m), the high point of the hike. To grab a bite, visit the cabane Mont-Fort (2457m) or the Restaurant Le Dahu. Take advantage of the ski lifts to go up to the Col des Gentianes (2894m) and the top of the Mont-Fort (3330m) for a fairytale viewover the Alps. Back at La Chaux, take the route de la Planie, wide and easy and overlooking the resort, up to the Croix de Coeur (2173m). The way down back toV erbier goes through La Marlénaz and Le Château.
