An impressive circular route at the beginning of the Saastal. From Stalden you can reach Gspon within minutes by aerial cableway. From the mountain station a nice path with a slight ascent leads through the forest up to the "Scheidbodo." From "Scheidbodo" you have to manage a short climb of about 150 meters in altitude. Then it continues on a wide path, which is partly quite steep, up to the "Sänntum." There are various fountains where you can refill your water bottle. The absolute highlight is the "Höuschbiela," a high plateau with a truly impressive panoramic view of the majestic Valais Alps. Next comes a beautiful, easy descent through wooded areas and stunning, open alpine pastures down to the hamlet of "Finilu." Here you need to be careful on a short, steep section of about 150 meters and reduce your speed. Over the Gspon Höhenweg it then goes back to Gspon. Caution is always advised here as the path is also used by hikers. In Gspon you can indulge yourself with the culinary offerings of the mountain restaurant Alpenblick and relax at the end of the day.
