Turn-by-turn directions
The family loop starts in the village centre of Grächen, past the valley station Hannigalp and continues on the field road to the point "1675". From here, the route, which still rises slightly, continues on the gravel road until the first descent begins. The descent ends at the idyllic mountain lake "Z’Seew". The small lake invites you to linger and, especially on hot summer days, is a paddling pool for young and old. The loop then continues uphill to the junction "Äbnet" and from there on a wide trail to the restaurants "Bärgji-Alp" and "Jägerstube". Both restaurants have a cozy atmosphere and fine dishes. On the opposite valley side, a whole range of 3000-meter peaks are presented, with the Barrhorn standing out as the highest snow-free hiking peak in Europe. Shortly after the valley station "Grächen Bärgji", the trail goes back to the starting point at Grächen village. At "Titter" there is the possibility to ride down to Kalpetran on a varied and flowing enduro trail. Connection to the Zermatt-Visp trail (No. 150) is available.
