Description

The start of your route is from the Anzère cable car departure point, which you take up to the intermediate station. From there, you cross the alpine pastures of the Anzère resort. When you reach Les Rousses, you descend onto the road of the Tseuzier dam. Arrived above Pracombère, a village of mayens, you take the unpaved road that climbs to the right up to the Sion bisse. Then you follow this bisse to the mayens of Griellesses and continue along the Luys road back to the starting point.

Turn-by-turn directions

Before you can get on your mountain bike, take the Anzère cable car up to the intermediate station. There, the route begins with a slight descent towards the Tsalan alpine pasture. You can take a break at Rosemarie's refreshment stand and enjoy the magnificent panorama that unfolds before you. Then continue towards the Duex and Serin alpine pastures where you can observe the impressive Hérens cattle known for their feisty temperament. You descend to Les Rousses where you join the road leading to the Tseuzier dam. Follow this road down to Pracombère. Above this charming village of mayens, take the unpaved road that climbs up to the Sion bisse. Follow the bisse to the mayens of Griellesses and then continue along the Luys road to the cable car departure point.
