Our favorites
Our favorite itineraries are part of a selection of the best routes in the region and are proposed by Valais/Wallis Promotion to best meet the expectations of our guests.
Turn-by-turn directions
The route begins in the village of Champex, nestled by a magical alpine lake. After a few meters, you ride along the lake and can admire the Grand Combin reflected in it. The summit rises over 4400 meters high. For the easy ascent to L'Adray, you are rewarded with a unique view of the lake and the village. Continue riding along the river and get to know the other two villages in the holiday area, Champex d'en Haut and Champex d'en Bas. Then the route leads you uphill through a magnificent larch forest and then back down towards the lake. Now take the forest path on the other side of the village and reach the northern side of the mountain lake. The route passes along a marsh. This is part of a nationally important scenic protected area and is home to many rare animal and plant species.
