Description

The Hannigalp is easily accessible either via the gravel road or by cable car from Grächen. The trail leads over various surfaces and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the Matterhorn.

The route is only signposted in one direction: Hannigalp -> Küchenwang -> Hannigalp

Turn-by-turn directions

From Hannigalp, a steep climb takes you via Chleini Furgge to Küchenwang. Now that your muscles have warmed up, you should tackle an additional fifty metres in altitude on foot to enjoy the fantastic view of the southern Valais and Bernese Alps from the summit of the Wannihorn. Back on your bike, follow the slightly wider trail downhill back to Hannigalp.
