Blauherd Trail

The Blauherd Trail is the region’s newest mountain biking highlight, with a spectacular route that winds through an impressive rocky landscape offering unique views of the Matterhorn. From Zermatt, the funicular takes you to Sunnegga, where a cable car connects to Blauherd. The trailhead is located directly opposite the top station. Over a distance of nearly three kilometres, the trail descends to Sunnegga between imposing boulders. Technical sections, natural terrain and fun features follow one another over a descent of nearly 300 metres. The highlight of the route: the crossing of the giant canyon, a breathtaking passage.
