Sentier des Sens, La Tzoumaz

The “Path of the Senses” is a fun 5.5-kilometre trail through the forest at La Tzoumaz, accessible for people with reduced mobility as well as families with pushchairs. Refurbished during summer 2020, it offers an informative and entertaining experience around the theme of the five senses. Along the route, visitors can take part in games related to the senses: visually impaired walkers, for example, can touch and smell the plants along the way. Young explorers will enjoy playing with Squizy the squirrel along the path with the help of the “Quiz of the 5 senses” adventure booklet. Visitors can also follow the Crayon Vert (“Green Crayon”) route, with tips on how to draw in the open air: details from the Maison de la Forêt (“Forest House”). Picnic spots in the heart of the forest provide idyllic settings for a break; the path also offers an attractive start to a longer walk along the “Bisse de Saxon” historical irrigation channel.
