Sentier des Sens, La Tzoumaz

This is a fun 5.5-kilometre trail through the forest at La Tzoumaz, accessible for people with reduced mobility as well as families with pushchairs. It offers an informative and entertaining experience around the theme of the five senses. Visually impaired visitors can also touch and smell the plants as they walk, while young explorers will enjoy playing with Squizy the squirrel along the path with the help of the “Quiz of the 5 senses” adventure booklet. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of the Green Pencil Trail, details of which can be obtained from the Maison de la Forêt, to learn how to draw outdoors. There are picnic spots in the heart of the forest, and the trail can be the start of a longer walk along the “Bisse de Saxon” irrigation channel. People with reduced mobility can hire an all-terrain electric wheelchair to undertake the route.
