Ruan Tour

The Ruan which peaks at 3,044 metres has two satellite summits: to the west, Petit Ruan at 2,847 m, and to the east, Grand Ruan at 3,057 m. The tour itself straddles two countries, France with the Haute-Savoie region, to be more precise the Vallée du Haut-Giffre, and Switzerland in the canton of Valais, district of Saint-Maurice, and upper part of the Trient Valley. The highest point of this tour, the Cheval-Blanc, at 2,830 metres, offers a fantastic view, where you can take in with one glance the Bernese Alps, the Rhône plain, the Valais Alps, Mont-Blanc, Chablais or the Jura.
