Dents du Midi Tour

This tour does not present any great difficulty but the climb up the Jorat pass (1,400 metres difference in height) and the Encel pass (narrow section with a handrail) requires a good level of physical fitness. You will need to take some longer rests to make the most of the stunning panoramic views: the Cime de l’Est and the Vierge as you climb the Jorat, the Lac de Salanfe and Tour Salière as you descend the pass, the Ruan Glacier from the Susanfe cabane, the Souffla gorge and waterfall as you leave the Encel pass, the walls of rocks from the Anthème cabane, and the Chablais up to Lake Geneva.
