Bisses de Lentine and Mont d'Orge

We follow the Bisses de Lentine through the vineyards of Savièse, supplying water to the lovely Lac du Mont d’Orge and its nature reserve. It has been channelled in concrete conduits over part of its course. The Bisse du Mont d’Orge, built in 1885, pumps water from the Lac du Mont d’Orge and supplies the southern face of the hill, including the renowned Mont d’Or estate.
