Bisses

Bisse of Bitailla

Set off on a magnificent escapade in the Sionne valley along the Bisse de Bitailla, first documented in 1307. From the car park at the Anzère cable car, follow the Tour du Gô signs and take the butterfly trail, which will take you as far as the Évouettes water intake. Continue along the bisse, which is sometimes channeled and sometimes open to the air, as far as St-Romain via Saxonne. This bisse is one of the few in Valais to have water all year round.
