Bisse de Tsa Crêta

Starting from Mase, the Tsa Crêta bisse offers a shaded walk through the mountain pastures and forests of the Val d’Hérens. Built before 1400, then restored and brought back into use at the start of the 21st century, this historic bisse reveals its stone channels, its water chutes and several information boards on traditional irrigation in Valais. Easy and rejuvenating, the route follows the water to the bisse’s intake, with lovely picnic spots, stunning Alpine views and 14 sculptures dotted along the way.
