Théâtre du Crochetan

Rising above the heart of the town of Monthey is the Crochetan. The institution, purely a hosting theatre when it began, has continued to develop over the years. Its circular building offers a substantial programme including other disciplines such as dance, music and circus performing. It even has space for an art gallery on the first floor and has expanded by absorbing other spaces, such as a former industrial warehouse. Above all, however, it encourages creativity and thus provides a space for local artists.
