Fondation Opale

Since 2018, the Opale Foundation in Lens has welcomed visitors to a striking art centre set against an Alpine backdrop. Led by the passionate collector Bérengère Primat, the Foundation presents permanent and temporary exhibitions of Aboriginal art in its 900 square metre main gallery and the ‘Special Focus’ satellite space. The result is a lively dialogue between this tradition and contemporary works from around the world, enriched by workshops, talks and publications.
