Wildstrubel by UTMB® allows runners to discover new regions, landscapes and culture Connecting the Swiss cantons of Valais and Bern, Wildstrubel by UTMB® will take runners on a magnificent journey through the northern Alps of Switzerland. Perfectly manicured mountain pastures, breathtaking views of the Valaisrsquo; 4,000m peaks, the striking landscapes of the Bernese Oberland mountain range, and the high mountains of the Wildstrubel massif await. The queen race will be a 113 km long course with 6,600m+ of positive altitude difference. One thing is sure, this loop is worth the detour! Wildstrubel by UTMB® will also offer a 70 km race from Kandersteg, a 53 km race from Adelboden, as well as a 25 km race from Leukerbad. And on Friday, 2 races dedicated to young trailers so everyone can be part of the party and experience the trail running adventure! Wild 110 / 100M The pinnacle 113 km course and 6,600m D+ for a unique adventure around the Wildstrubel massif. Departure from Crans-Montana for a first part in the heart of the Swiss Valais, between perfectly maintained pastures and tender alpine meadows, where local products will be in the spotlight to refuel you! Then, you will cross into the canton of Berne via the mythical Gemmi pass (2,268m), which you will remember for a long time. The canton of Bern will surprise you between Adelboden, Kandersteg or the Lenk, and finally the famous Wildstrubel hut, the highest point of the race at 2,800m. The end of the route will bring you back to the Valais side, once you have crossed the Rawyl pass (2'427m), to enjoy the emerald colours of the Tseuzier lake and an exceptional last section along the Ro bisse. The variety of landscapes encountered is the strong point of the route. One thing is certain, this loop is worth the diversions! You will then head to Adelboden and its famous Chuenisbärgli World Cup ski run, to follow in the footsteps of the champions. A final pass, Hahnenmoospass, to cross before descending to the charming village of Lenk and heading towards Iffigenalp, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region. The Rawil pass, a few kilometres further on, will allow you to return to the Valais side and you will then reach the sublime Tseuzier lake and its dam before crossing the footbridge which will lead you to the Ro bisse, the last breathtaking corridor leading to Crans-Montana and its well-deserved finish line!
