Valais Triathlon Festival 2025

On 16 and 17 August 2025, the Valais Triathlon Festival will return to the Domaine des Îles in Sion for its second edition, offering a weekend of sport and festivities in the heart of exceptional Alpine scenery. The festival offers a wide range of events suitable for all levels and ages. Children aged 6 to 17 can take part in swimming, cycling and running races, with distances ranging from 25 m to 250 m for swimming, 1 km to 10 km for cycling and 400 m to 2.5 km for running. Families can also sign up for the Family Relay race, which combines swimming, cycling and running over suitable distances. For adults, several formats are available: • Discovery: 250 m swim, 10 km bike ride and 2.5 km run. • Sunset Sprint Team: 250 m swim, 10 km bike ride and 2.5 km run, in teams. • La Traversée: an original event combining a 1 km swim, 1 km paddleboard ride and 1 km run. • Short: 500 m swim, 20 km bike ride and 5 km run. • Olympic: 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike ride and 10 km run. • Half: 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike ride and 21.1 km run. • SwimRun Sprint: approximately 17 km, alternating between running and swimming. • SwimRun Experience: approximately 7 km, alternating between running and swimming. Participants will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Domaine des Îles, cycle along Valais’ picturesque roads and run along the banks of the Rhône. Additional activities, such as paddleboard crossings, obstacle courses and concerts by the water, will round off this sporting weekend. Whether you are a seasoned triathlete or an enthusiastic beginner, the Valais Triathlon Festival offers an unforgettable experience in an exceptional natural setting.
