Description
Which is the most beautiful in the whole village? At the traditional shepherds' festival in Zen Stecken the most beautiful black-nosed sheep of the year is awarded. It is the 75th anniversary of the Sheep Breeders Cooperative, which has been helping to organize the festival for a long time.
In addition to the lovingly coiffed sheep, a varied festival program and the birthday celebration of the Zermatt mascot Wolli ensure the best entertainment. A cosy get-together is guaranteed at the traditional event.
Program
-Saturday:
Tomorrow: Washing of the black-nosed sheep in Zen Stecken at the Forest Fun Park or at the Tradition Julen sheep pen.
-Sunday:
11.00 a.m.: Field service with musical entertainment
from noon: restaurant with country music
13.00 h: Awarding of the black nose sheep
15.00 h: Birthday celebration of Wolli and announcement of "Wolli of the year
