From March 2nd to the 8th in Morgins, Région Dents du Midi will host the memorable Ski Mountaineering World Championships, reconnecting with its past experiences such as the 2008 World Championships and the World Cup events held in 2023 and 2022. For many years, Region Dents du Midi has been a destination for ski mountaineering and a preferred training ground for local athletes. In 2008, it notably became the first location in Switzerland to host the Ski Mountaineering World Championships. Ski touring is now considered a major tourist attraction; indeed, thousands of enthusiasts come to explore this beautiful region through this sport.
