Grand Raid BCVS

Starting from Verbier, Nendaz, Hérémence or Evolène, participants set out on demanding routes through the spectacular landscapes of Valais, with the finish line in Grimentz, in the Val d’Anniviers. Four routes are available: 125 kilometres from Verbier, 93 kilometres from Nendaz, 68 kilometres from Hérémence and 37 kilometres from Evolène. Depending on the selected route, riders face considerable elevation gain and cross the legendary Pas de Lona, located at an altitude of more than 2,700 metres and considered one of the race’s most iconic and demanding sections. In Nendaz, as in the other villages along the route, spectators can watch the riders pass by and cheer them on in a lively and friendly sporting atmosphere. Certain traffic restrictions may be introduced to ensure the safety of the race.
