Giro d’Italia
Valais will welcome two stages of the legendary transalpine circuit in 2023. After arriving in the canton via the Great St Bernard pass and continuing along the Croix-de-Cœur pass, the renowned Italian cycling race will stop off in Crans-Montana before setting off from Sierre the next day to climb the Simplon pass. Spectators can head to the starting and finishing villages to enjoy the excitement of the race at close quarters.
