CIME

For its 10th edition, CIME is hosting the Fête Cantonale des Costumes Valaisans on 9 August 2025. This will be followed by the festival with its traditional market, as well as the various folklore shows that attract thousands of fans of traditional art and cultural travel every two years. In honour of the Valais flag, and to raise public awareness of the importance of the sky in the mountain landscape, the CIME has chosen the stars as its theme. Stars to which the eyes of the world are raised at nightfall, and which remind us that despite our differences, we all live under a common roof: the starry sky. A first for the festival, this year's programme will take us to a continent as yet unexplored by CIME: Oceania. High-quality shows, a friendly village atmosphere, a rich cultural heritage, lectures, film screenings, a craft market and an exhibition: the festival offers a complete discovery of mountain culture, a touching discovery of others through emotion, wonder and sharing.
