Zermatt, with its 360 km of ski runs and 52 ski lifts, is the highest ski in the Alps. Regarded as nirvana for climbers, Zermatt is located in the heart of glaciers and legendary mountains. This charming Alpine village at the foot of the Matterhorn each year attracts dozens of visitors from all over the world and particularly to internationally renowned events such as Zermatt Unplugged. A stone’s throw from Zermatt, Täsch and Randa are worth a stop, perhaps, for example, a cross-country skiing excursion. Located along the Matterhorn’s cross-country skiing trail, the two villages also offer a magnificent collection of highly diverse hiking trails. In summer, Täsch welcomes golfers to its superb nine-hole golf course surrounded by its sumptuous environment.
