Cave Frédéric Zufferey
Passionate about wine and viticulture, Frédéric Zufferey has been making wine on his estate in accordance with the Vitiswiss requirements for ecological production since 1986. All of his vineyards are situated within the municipality of Sierre, whose terroir and climate are recognised as being among the best in Switzerland. The wines produced by the winery involve no less than 15 different grape varieties. Twenty years of hard work have gone into reconstituting the vineyards and replanting varieties that are well-suited to the soil. Frédéric Zufferey can be found in the wine cellar or vineyards every day. However, it is advisable to give him advance notice of your visit so that he can take the time to introduce you to fascinating aspects of the local terroir.
