The nature reserve of La Combe de l’A is an outstanding natural jewel where geological history has been preserved for all to see. It is home to a wide variety of alpine flora and fauna, including stags that can be seen rutting there in the autumn. The view and ambience at dusk is quite simply extraordinary. Liddes is also the perfect winter vacation. It offers pistes for all abilities, as well as a ski school with many levels of instruction offered. Lots of snowshoe trails round out the possibilities.
