Théâtre du Crochetan
Rising high in the heart of the town of Monthey is the Crochetan. The institution, purely a hosting theatre when it began, continued to develop over the years – on a grand scale. Its substantial programme includes other disciplines such as dance, music and circus. Its circular building even has space for an art gallery on the first floor. The theatre has expanded by absorbing other spaces, such as a former industrial warehouse. Above all, however, it encourages creativity and thus gives a stage to local artists.
