Mont-Fort
The summit of the Mont Fort – 3,330 m above sea level, highest point and symbol of the “4 Vallées” ski area – offers superb views taking in Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and the Combins massif. The piste below is ungroomed because of its steepness, and considered very difficult. The upper section is one continuous mogul field; overall, the run down towards Col des Gentianes measures 1,780 m with a vertical drop of 380 m, and is suitable only for very good skiers in excellent physical shape. Non-experts will choose to return by cable car after admiring the view from the summit.
