The village of Aproz is located on the left bank of the Rhone near Sion and Conthey but on the municipal territory of Nendaz. The village is famous for hosting the national finals of the Hérens cow breed in the Pra-Bardi arena. But also because of the company Aproz Sources Minérales SA, which is the largest bottler of mineral water in Switzerland and the market leader in syrups.
