The Walliser Alpentherme & Spa Leukerbad (open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) disposes of a 200 sqm indoor thermal bath with 36 – 40°C water temperature and an outdoor thermal bath of 300 sqm (water temperature 36°C ) featuring a variety of underwater attractions. Both pools are waiting to be discovered by you with a multitude of integrated facilities, it is a marvelous experience at any time of the year.

Test your skills or refine your basic technique on the pumptrack at Leukerbad (Loèche-les-Bains), with its waves, hollows and steep walls, or on the obstacles in the skills park. These facilities are ideal preparation for the Torrent flowtrail.

The flowtrail in Leukerbad promises a rewarding ride for all mountain bike enthusiasts. Measuring 3.23 km with an average gradient of 10%, the route starts at Rinderhütte, at an altitude of 2,304 m, and finishes at Torrentalp, at 1,919 m: a vertical drop of 385 m. The ride features thrilling banked turns, bumps and jumps, which you can also avoid. Pure mountain biking pleasure – without the need to pedal!

Attention, folk music fans! Don't miss the Folk Music Weekend in October, when traditional folk groups from all over Switzerland will perform in the unique atmosphere of an impressive natural arena and Leukerbad's streets and restaurants will come alive with timeless tunes.

Once a year Leukerbad is the place to be for all those interested in literature. Mountains, water and words, that's how we can describe the literature festival of Leukerbad. Readings at various locations make the festival so unique. National and international authors will read from their works  in hotel bars and gardens, in the Dala Gorge or at midnight up on Gemmi Pass. This is a must for all bookworms!

Organised astride the cantons of Valais and Bern, Wildstrubel by UTMB® invites trail running enthusiasts to discover the alpine landscapes around the Wildstrubel massif. The main race offers a 113-kilometre route and 6,600 metres of ascent difference starting in Crans-Montana, with the route going all the way around the Wildstrubel massif via the Bernese Alps. The other three race formats include 70 kilometres from Kandersteg, 50 kilometres from Adelboden and 25 kilometres from Leukerbad. The common finish of the four courses is in Crans-Montana. 

This event is part of the UTMB World Series and one of the stages for runners wishing to participate in the UTMB Mont-Blanc and thus reach the UTMB World Series Finals in Chamonix.

The culinary hike in an impressive mountain arena is an opportunity to treat yourself to the very best that Leukerbad’s restaurants and Valais's vineyards have to offer. During the culinary thermal springs hike you will walk from one location to the next, enjoying local specialities and learning (more) about the Leukerbad holiday region. There will be an experienced local guide for each group of 30 people. The hike takes about 5-6 hours over 5.5 kilometres. A maximum of 210 persons can participate.
