A small but beautiful ski area, guided snow tours under a full moon through the snow-covered forests of Jeizinen and Engersch. Silence in harmony with nature. Cozy sun terraces and secluded spots with clear, cool mountain air and a magnificent panorama of the Valais 4000-metre peaks. The traditional vineyards, hikes along the Suonen irrigation channels and mountain biking are all on offer in the Gampel region. But once a year, the silence is broken. Every year in August, the famous Open Air Gampel takes place, which has grown from around 500 visitors in 1986 to over 100,000.
