Isérables
The Valais village of Isérables lies at an altitude of 1,116 meters on a steep slope that stretches up to the Champs Ferret at 2,750 meters. The name Isérables comes from the maple tree, which is common in the region and there are also three different hiking trails. The museum in Isérables houses a unique collection of historical documents and objects and there is another highlight to marvel at on the Balavaux Alp, a larch forest with more than 250 trees that are between 300 and almost 1000 years old.
