La Tzoumaz region

The La Tzoumaz region includes the municipalities of Riddes and La Tzoumaz from 482 meters in the valley to Mont Gelé at 3,023 meters, as well as the municipality of Isérables. A cable car connects the village of Riddes on the valley floor in just a few minutes with Isérables, which takes its name from the maple tree, which is abundant in the region and to which there are also three hiking trails. The family-friendly winter sports resort of La Tzoumaz is linked to the 4 Vallées ski area and the toboggan run is famous beyond the canton's borders.
