A magical sleigh ride, an introduction to sled driving or a panoramic tour – there is something for everyone this winter in the Val des Dix. As you are pulled along by powerful sled dogs, set off to explore the surrounding nature, admire the Grande Dixence Dam and its frozen waters, marvel at the impressive mountains of the Dent Blanche and the Dents de Veisivi or become a musher in the blink of an eye as you drive your own team of dogs.

Located at an altitude of 1,750 meters in the municipality of Hérémence, just a few steps from the ski resort of Les Collons, this spa complex attached to the Eringer Hotel offers a panoramic view of the Val d'Hérens, the Rhône valley and the Dent Blanche massif. The facilities include an indoor and an outdoor pool with various attractions, three Jacuzzis and a wellness area with various treatments. The pools in the wellness area are fed by natural hot water from Combioulaz, a site nestled in the depths of the Val d'Hérens, where no fewer than 81 healing springs emerge from the rocks at temperatures of up to 25 to 29°C.

Before tasting the delicious products, go behind the scenes at the cheese dairy and learn about the traditional craftsmanship required to transform milk into cheese.

In Hérémence, two marked Movement Tracks with different difficulty levels await you. The medium red route is 2.8 kilometres long and takes you from Buvette de Praperoz to Chauloué via Le Louché, involving 584 metres of elevation gain. On the easier blue tour, look forward to 3.6 kilometres of skiing and 469 metres in elevation gain. The Léteygeon ski lift takes you to Alp Mandelon with its Buvette and lets you enjoy an exceptional panorama.
