Mund is the only Swiss town where saffron is grown. The expensive spice can be admired blooming in fields below the village in October. And it be tasted in local restaurants. Our visitors will learn lots of useful information about saffron while following the saffron tutorial path or visiting the saffron museum.

With us you will wander along the beautifully kept ""bisses"" (the old water conducts) in the wild romantic valley of the Gredetschtal in the middle of the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Here you will encounter black nose sheep, black neck goats and cows of the Val d'Herens race – a pure natural experience.
