The hotel in Ried, the idyllic hamlet before Blatten, with bus stop, cross-country skiing trail and hiking trails right in front of the door, is ideally located for holidays adventures of all kinds, in winter as well as in summer. Our 150-year-old hotel is the oldest and most traditional hotel (1868) in the Lötschental. A lively hospitality, marked by Esprit Fraîcheur, naturalness and attention to detail guarantee an enjoyable and varied stay in a genuine mountain landscape.  The Cuisine fraîcheur, awarded 15 Gault Millau points and a Michelin Bib Gourmand, is an insider's tip for gourmets. The chef will spoil you with a lot of passion in the modern rustic restaurant. A blazing open fire in winter, exquisite wines from the Valais vineyards and fine eau-de-vie round off the cuisine fraîcheur experience. In summer you can admire our mountain panorama on the terrace with lounge. The hotel has 10 completely renovated rooms with spacious bathrooms overlooking the impressive Lötschental mountains. The individual design of the hotel rooms was influenced by the building structure of the house and materialized with oak parquet, modern wall coverings, tasteful decorative fabrics and furniture from the 150-year history of the house. A completely new bathroom feeling awaits, in white Corian and rain showers. In the new rooms there is a flat screen TV and free WLan reception throughout the house. On the 4th floor in the sloping roof of the house there are still our popular 3 small budget double rooms with floor WC & shower and 2 cosy single rooms. A lobby in the entrance area invites you to read, play and discover. The free WLAN and the numerous daily newspapers enable you to stay up to date.
