The sixth generation family hotel Furka, built 1848, in Oberwald, Goms is located directly on the Furkapass road of the Furka, at the base of the mountain passes Furka, Grimsel and Nufenen in the canton Valais (Switzerland). This business with a long-standing tradition has been owned by the family Spranzi & Nanzer for over 160 years.   We can easily be reached by train and car. The railway station Matterhorn-Gotthardbahn (MGB) is only 5 minutes away, providing car transfer through the Furka tunnel as well as access to the Furka steam engine mountain railway (DFB)   All rooms are equipped with shower, radio & wireless LAN.   In summer exciting outdoor activities including hiking, biking, riverrafting and steam train trips over the Furka pass start right at our doorstep.   The cross-country ski trails Goms (100km) pass right in front of our house.
