The sun-drenched Lauchernalp
The Lauchernalp ski area lies high above the Lötschental is always sunny and endowed with spectacular views of the Bietschhorn and Lötschenlücke. Seemingly endless, the panorama trail ascends from Lauchernalp to Stafel. Ten interactive stations invite hikers of all ages to discover the region. Themes like “The wonder of snow” introduce visitors the kaleidoscope of snow crystals, and “We are what we eat” allows visitors to feel the fur of domestic animals in “touch boxes”. Two idyllic chapels are situated on the edge of the trail, and the Restaurant Berghaus in Stafel satisfies your cravings. Ideal for families with children!
